General Mechanics & Items

This section covers the system-wide changes and all item/card adjustments introduced in Patch v1.3 – The War Ahead.


Poison Status Overhaul

  • Boss monsters are no longer fully immune to poison.

    • They now have increased resistance to poison tick damage, application, defense reduction, and duration instead.

  • VIT-based resistance reduced to 30% effectiveness.

    • Players and mobs can now still be poisoned even at high VIT (previously immune at 80+ VIT).

  • Poison now ticks until the target reaches 1% HP (previously stopped at 25%).

  • When poison is removed, it deals a non-lethal burst of 2% of the target’s HP.


Melee Weapon Range

  • All melee weapons gain +2 attack range, except Spears which gain +1.

  • Classes that previously had bonus attack range are unchanged (Sage, Melee Hunter, Bard, Dancer, Dual 1-Hand Sword Assassins).

  • Most melee skills adapt to this new weapon range.

  • Exception: manually casted (non-combo) Asura Strike does not scale with the new range.

  • Morrigane’s Manteau

    • At +9 refine and above: Perfect Dodge +4 → +16

  • Valkyrie Manteau

    • Base Perfect Dodge 5 → 2

    • Perfect Dodge per refine +2 → +1

  • Iron Driver & Long Mace

    • Bonus attack range reduced by 1

  • Little Angel Doll

    • INT +1

    • 3% chance of autocasting Grand Cross Lv3 when physically attacked

    • If the user has learned Grand Cross Lv10, it casts Lv10 instead

    • At +9 refine and above: INT +2 and double the autocast chance

  • Magni’s Cap

    • Now has 1 slot

  • Staff of Destruction

    • At +9 refine and above: enables use of Mystical Amplification Lv5 (was Lv2)


Card Changes

  • Agav: At +9 refine, MATK +2%

  • Amon Ra: Max HP 10% → 20%, Additional Max SP +20%, Str/Agi/Int +1

  • Ancient Mummy: At +9 refine, HIT +20

  • Andre: At +9 refine, recover +1% SP on proc

  • Arc Angeling: (original effect unchanged)

    • All stats +1 (moved to base effect)

    • Max HP +500

    • At +9 refine, additional Max HP +500

  • Atroce:

    • ATK +25 → +10% physical vs all races

    • ASPD +10%

    • Small chance for 100% ASPD and ATK +100 for 10s

  • Baphomet: (original effect unchanged) Crit Damage +50%

  • Cookie: Holy Light bonus damage 35% → 25%

  • Dark Lord: (original effect unchanged)

    • Additional Str/Agi/Int +1

    • Max HP/SP +5% → +20%

    • If paired with Dark Illusion: bonus Max HP/SP reduced (20% → 10%)

  • Detale: Max HP +10% → +20%, chance to autocast Land Protector Lv3 and Dragon Fear Lv3 when hit

  • Dracula: (original effect unchanged) Damage vs all races +10% → +20%, additional ASPD +10%

  • Drake: (original effect unchanged)

    • Autocast Waterball chance reduced 20% → 15%

    • Autocast Waterball levels 2–4 (was 1–3)

    • Additional ASPD +10%

  • Echio: At +9 refine, ATK +20

Mob Adjustments

  • Biolabs, Thanatos, Abyss Lake, Odin’s Temple, Rachel Dungeon and other high-end mobs now use more of their official skill lists.


Infinity Adjustments

  • Beelzebub: Base HP reduced 4.5m → 3.8m

  • Thanatos: Base HP increased 2.4m → 3.1m
